Information Session – Regional Tariff Response Initiative
Businesses in the Cornwall, SDG and Akwesasne that have been affected by recent changes to international trade rules are invited to a virtual information session. The online workshop is scheduled for December 15th, and is geared to help organizations learn about Canada’s Regional Tariff Response Initiative (RTRI). Participants will be able to get answers on eligibility, funding and the application process. The $1-billion RTRI (announced earlier this year) helps businesses overcome trade disruptions and includes support for businesses across all sectors. It invests in targeted, time-sensitive activities that boost productivity, lower costs, strengthen supply chain resilience, and open doors to new markets, enhancing overall competitiveness.
