Cornwall Ontario – Job seekers will have a chance to meet dozens of local employers in-person at the Cornwall, SDG & Akwesasne Regional Employment Expo in April.
The Regional Employment Expo (formerly called the Cornwall and Area Job Fair) will be held at the Benson Centre on Monday April 13 and is being organized by the Social Development Council of Cornwall and Area’s Employability Network. The event is free and open to anyone seeking employment in Cornwall, Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, and Akwesasne.
“It’s really exciting to bring the job fair to a new space this year and build on what has already been such a strong event for our region,” says Melanie Boileau, Project Coordinator at the Social Development Council SDGCA. “With the new layout and broader approach, we’re creating more opportunities for employers, service providers, and training and education partners to connect with job seekers.”
This year’s move to the Benson Centre marks an exciting step forward, offering an upgraded, more accessible space designed to better support both exhibitors and attendees. As the largest employment event in the region, the Expo continues to attract hundreds of job seekers while strengthening connections between local talent and local opportunities.
This is the twelfth consecutive year that a Job Fair has been held in Cornwall.
