Cornwall, ON – Morrisburg has a new destination for tea lovers. Uligan’s Uncovered, a new tea shop, has officially opened its doors on August 8th, bringing a unique selection of pre-packaged loose-leaf teas to the community.
Founded by Jennifer McIntyre, a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, in partnership with her daughter, the business is dedicated to providing high-quality, natural teas sourced directly from suppliers across Ontario. The name of the business comes from Jennifer’s time in the military – it was a nickname given to her by her former manager.
Jennifer and her daughter share a deep appreciation for natural wellness and simplicity, which fueled their passion for tea. With their business, they hope to highlight “hidden gems” crafted locally – teas that are pure, free from additives, and presented in mindful, simple packaging that allows the ingredients to “speak for themselves.”
Located at 57 Main Street in the Morrisburg Shopping Plaza, the decision to open the shop at this location was a deliberate choice to support and promote a diverse local business community. The store’s soft opening is an opportunity to gather feedback from customers before its grand opening, which is being planned for September.
Uligan’s Uncovered is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 4pm. You can reach them via email at info.uligansuncovered@gmail.com.
