Cornwall, ON – The culinary landscape of Morrisburg has been enhanced with the arrival of Tan’s Fusion by Nakhon Thai. Located at 63 Main Street, in the Morrisburg Shopping Plaza, this restaurant is the third venture for seasoned restaurateurs and married couple, Tan and Aaron. 

The name “Tan’s Fusion by Nakhon Thai” tells a story in itself. “Nakhon” translates to “city” in English and references Tan’s birthplace in Thailand. The addition of “Fusion” and Tan’s name highlights the diverse culinary offerings that go beyond traditional Thai dishes. 

Tan and Aaron, who have successfully run two other Nakhon Thai locations since 2009, decided to expand to Morrisburg to create new growth opportunities for their dedicated staff and to deepen their connection with a community Aaron knows well from his upbringing in nearby Iroquois. The strong commitment to their team and the local area, and their desire to give back to the community, are the foundation of their business.  

What truly sets Tan’s Fusion apart is its dedication to fresh, made-to-order dishes and house-made sauces. Diners can expect a wide array of options, from authentic Thai favorites to Canadian comfort food, alongside a wide range of fusion options and specialty drinks. They also offer unbeatable deals like $10 meal options on Tuesdays and can customize many dishes to accommodate various dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-friendly options. A current highlight is the “Chef’s Choice” experience – a set-price, multi-course mystery menu, including dessert, starting at $35 for five courses. 

Beyond the plate, the restaurant’s interior offers a serene and inviting ambiance. Guests can relax amidst hand-painted gold detailing, the calming sound of a waterfall, and comfortable booth and couch seating. The restaurant is available for private event bookings and regularly hosts special events such as live music and DJ nights.
