Tiffany started Tenacity Hockey to make an impact on female hockey players and provide them with a greater chance at achieving their future goals and dreams.
Tenacity Hockey will provide young driven females the opportunity to develop their skills on and off the ice. The program will empower them to build their self-confidence and leadership skills through these on and off ice activities which will also include a reading/response public speaking aspect and team building component.
On ice training will take place at the Benson Center while off ice training will take place at various locations around Cornwall. Reading/response and group discussion/presentation will take place via zoom.
“I am proud of the young ladies, putting in the work and supporting each other as everyone is at a different level,” said Tiffany Hill, owner, after a couple weeks of training.
As a participant in the Summer Company program, Tiffany has been working with the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre in developing her business plan and furthering her education on the different aspects of running a business.
