Cornwall, ON – Aspiring and growing food entrepreneurs across Ontario have another opportunity this spring to access free training through the Foodpreneur Advantage program, with the current session having just launched this April.
Ontario is home to the largest food and beverage sector in Canada, contributing over $17 billion annually to the province’s GDP and employing more than 125,000 people. The Foodpreneur Advantage program helps early-stage entrepreneurs tap into that potential with expert-led training sessions and industry insights.
Now available to entrepreneurs in the Cornwall, SDG and Akwesasne area through partnerships with local Business Enterprise Centres, the program will include sessions such as:
- Starting a Food Business & Regulatory Compliance – April 14, 2026
- How to Sell Your Food Product – April 23, 2026
- Costing & Pricing to Make Profits – April 30, 2026
- Marketing & Branding your Food Product – May 14, 2026
- Food Safety Fundamentals for Startups – May 2, 2026
- Labelling & Packaging your Food Product – May 28, 2026
