Cornwall Ontario – The new Coffee Lab restaurant has opened for coffee lovers in the McConnell Medical Centre.
Located in the McConnell Centre, across from Fullerton Pharmacy, Coffee Lab offers hot beverages, a variety of pastries and baked goods, soups, and sandwiches, and freshly made baklava and kunafa, which is Egyptian desserts.
Ms. Ghaly makes everything fresh daily and introduces food from her home in Cairo, Egypt. She offers items both sweet and savory along from her home, but as well as Canadian favorites.
“I offer excellent quality items with reasonable prices so that everyone can enjoy,” explains Sherin Ghaly, owner of Coffee Lab.
Ms. Ghaly noticed there was a need for offering food and drink in the Medical Centre, and saw this as perfect opportunity to follow her dream of opening a business while fulfilling a gap for clients of the Medical Centre. When the restaurant space became available Ms. Ghaly jumped on the opportunity as she also works as a pharmacist at the Fullerton Pharmacy and has a passion for baking.
“I was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, and live in Montreal, but I lived in Cornwall a few years ago and I love Cornwall and I couldn’t imagine a better place to open my business. We have the best community here,” says Ms. Ghaly.
