Cornwall Ontario – The Sourdough Loaf & More welcomes different authentic organic sourdough products to the markets.
The Sourdough Loaf and More is a home base micro-bakery in Cornwall that specializes in a wide range of handmade classic sourdough products prepared with top quality organic and non-GMO ingredients. The sourdough products are made from scratch with no fillers, corn, soy or seed oils.
“Sourdough in particular became a quick passion, and I started fermenting all of my grains,” explains Humairah Abowath, owner. “I thought why not bring this to the local community right here in Cornwall.”
The Sourdough Loaf and more prides itself of making products fresh and only baked 12 hours or less through traditional fermented process with no preservatives or additives.
Products range from classic breads, flavoured breads and unique items like the Cornwall bagel. The bakery also makes items that are not traditionally made with sourdough such as scones, brownies, cookies, doughnuts, and other baked goods.
“The reality is a small business has many faces… it definitely is a team effort around here and the entire family pitches in,” explains Humairah.
The Sourdough Loaf & More will be present at Jack Frost Fair in Kemptville, Ontario on November 12th from 12pm-4pm and December 3rd from 12pm-4pm.
