Cornwall ON – A beautiful new waterfront restaurant is open in South Glengarry. The Weaving Baskets Group (WBG) announced the grand opening of the Perch and Paddle Pub on June 23, 2023. The casual, contemporary eatery on the St. Lawrence River has enjoyed rave reviews and sold-out seating since its soft launch earlier this month.

Located at 20176 County Road 2 in Summerstown adjacent to Mac’s Marina, the 5,600-square-foot building and riverfront property was redeveloped this spring and now features indoor and outdoor patio seating with a fresh look.

Perch and Paddle Pub is SDG’s newest casual waterfront eatery. Enjoy reimagined pub fare and fresh contemporary dishes and the best selection of Ontario craft beer, wine, and cocktails. Open for lunch, dinner, and late-night eats.

WBG’s hospitality team has developed an exciting new menu to please every patron.

“Expect a flavour-forward lineup and elevated offerings ranging from our Perch Tostada to our Lobster Mac n’ Cheese, and our Wild Game Sliders to our AAA Canadian Ribeye,” says Tom Hughes, WBG’s Vice President. “Whether someone is coming in for a midday bite, for dinner after a day on the river, or for a special night out, we’ll have something they’ll enjoy.”

In addition to the fantastic new fare, patrons can partake in a solid selection of Ontario craft beer, great wine, and choice cocktails as well as live entertainment every weekend throughout the summer. The Loveseats will headline the Grand Opening celebrations on the June 23rd.

The opening of Perch and Paddle Pub continues to build on WBG’s history of redeveloping local landmarks and investing in the community.
