Cornwall Ontario – Looking to rent some professional office space?  Consider the WB Hub, a new collaborative co-working space in the historic Cotton Mill District of Cornwall.

“We have designed the space to meet the needs of professionals, remote workers, entrepreneurs, and people from out of town who may be in Cornwall for business,” says Tom Hughes, Vice-President of the Weaving Baskets Group. “Response has been terrific, with 14 of our 20 offices already spoken for.”

WB Hub offers a package to suit every businessperson’s needs, including small and large private offices, business suites for up to 3 people, a large business suite for up to 10 people, and dedicated desks in an open space with locking cabinets. Each desk and suite is fully wired to meet the needs of today’s modern worker. All packages include WiFi, and free tea and coffee, along with a functional kitchen.

WB Hub also has large and small board rooms with Smart Boards for rent to members and the public. Printing services are also available.

For those people working from home, WB Hub also offers a virtual office which offers a prestigious business address and mail service.

‘Included are discounted rates to rent meeting rooms so you can meet clients outside of the home,” notes Mr. Hughes.

One of the most striking features of the WB Hub is the juxtaposition of a century old historic mill with the modern technological and design elements of a modern workspace. Large windows bring natural sunlight into the hub, along with great views of the St. Lawrence River.

“Along with the business space we also offer a beautiful area that can be transformed into an event and or training space for business gatherings,” adds Mr. Hughes.

The opening of WB Hub comes after months of intensive renovations and ongoing investment by Weaving Baskets Group in Cornwall. The new space is is 7,400 sq.ft. with room to expand to an additional 2,900 sq.ft. in an adjacent building.

WB Hub is located at 705 Cotton Mill Street (Unit 116) and staff can be reached at (613) 936-1218. More information is available online at

About the Historic Cotton Mill District

The Historic Cotton Mill District is a mixed used commercial and residential district located along the St. Lawrence River  just south of the Le Village Business District. Originally developed starting in 1868 as the  home to a number of cotton mills  the area has recently been revitalized and is now home to an increasing number of residents and businesses. Much of the revitalization has occurred with the support of the City of Cornwall’s Heart of the Community Improvement Program.
