Cornwall Ontario —The new local business portal, ShopCornwallandArea.ca, is now open to the public.

Launched by the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce to support any and all local businesses during the pandemic, the site is a one-stop directory of local businesses who are operating during the pandemic.

Residents of Cornwall and SD&G seeking local products and services can visit the site to access centralized information on business hours, service changes, product availability, and redirects to eCommerce sites. The portal offers an easy way to support local vendors in their greatest time of need.

“With a situation that continues to evolve, we believe ShopCornwallandArea.ca can and will help the community stay connected and up-to-date with their favourite vendors,” said Greg Pietersma, Executive Director of the Chamber. “Our hope is that people will use this portal often and direct their spending to local businesses.”

The portal is free to use, and the listings are free-of-charge to local businesses. To date, more than 75 businesses have already signed up.

The Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce is the unified voice of the region’s business community speaking towards growth, leadership and innovation. The Chamber encourages everyone to continue demonstrating their local love by using the portal:
