Cornwall, ON – Sip & Scoop Canada, a Cornwall restaurant is keeping its doors open to feed hospital staff, free of charge.

First responders continue to work tirelessly, to treat and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus throughout the region. As a token of appreciation, Jehan Shorish, owner of Sip & Scoop Canada, has been providing waffles and bubble tea as a thank you to first responders at the Cornwall Community Hospital.

“Since March 15th, we’ve been doing about 50 waffles per day,” says Shorish. “All they have to do is call and tell us they’re working at the hospital and that they’d like a waffle and a tea. They should be appreciated, they’re at the front line of this crisis right now.”
