Brookdale Animal Hospital is jointly owned by Dr. Farag and Dr. Nady Wanis: two passionate veterinarians with extensive experience in veterinary medicine. Dr. Farag began his career in Egypt, where he practiced in a small animal clinic for over three years and gained additional experience working with pharmaceutical companies. In 2010, he moved to Canada with his family to continue his professional journey and co-founded Brookdale Animal Hospital in 2025 with the goal of serving the Cornwall community and helping pets live healthy, happy lives.
Dr. Wanis also began practicing veterinary medicine in Egypt, and has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and veterinary dentistry. He has experience working in a fast-paced emergency veterinary hospital, where he is known for his calm, precise, and compassionate approach in high-acuity situations. His professional philosophy is built on excellence, precision, and strong advocacy for animal welfare.
Brookdale Animal Hospital offers a broad scope of services, including wellness exams, dental care, grooming and hygiene, soft tissue surgeries, senior pet care, and support for pets with special needs. Urgent care appointments are also available, helping ensure continuity of care when unexpected health concerns arise. Preventive medicine is a key focus of the practice. Wellness exams are described as “nose-to-tail checkups” intended to assess overall health, identify potential issues early, and provide clear recommendations for ongoing care.
