Cornwall, ON – Lazer Zone Arena is Cornwall’s newest destination for high-energy entertainment, specializing in immersive laser tag experiences. The new, neon-lit laser tag venue promises fun for all ages, and a unique setup that makes date night and family fun a seamless experience. 

After nearly a year of dedicated work on the project, the doors to Lazer Zone Arena officially opened on October 4th. The business owner, Osmar Amaya, who also owns Viva Cancun – the new Mexican restaurant in town – shared that his motivation to open Lazer Zone Arena was to fill the gap for entertainment in Cornwall, especially for students and youth. This desire to provide local, accessible fun drove his decision to launch the business.  

The core offering is a thrilling, neon-lit laser tag arena where players participate in 15-minute missions. Activities range from classic Free-For-All and Team Play to strategic Team Capture and Elimination. Each game is a two-phase challenge: the first half is spent accumulating “lives,” and the second half is an intense battle to survive as those lives dwindle with every hit.  

Since Lazer Zone Arena is situated upstairs from the Viva Cancun Mexican restaurant, this provides a major convenience for families, as parents can enjoy a relaxing meal downstairs while their kids are playing upstairs.  

Beyond the arena, the venue holds a large party room that can host up to 90 people. This versatile space is available for rent by the hour or as part of a package and is perfect for not just birthday parties, but also for corporate team building, baby showers, and other private events. In addition, the venue is flexible, offering both catering options and the ability for groups to bring their own food.
