Cornwall, ON – Local businesses, nonprofits, economic development stakeholders and community leaders are invited to take part in the Summer 2025 Funders Forum Series, with a Cornwall Session scheduled for Thursday, July 10th, 2025, at the Benson Centre.

This in-person event, running from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offers a valuable opportunity to connect directly with provincial ministries and learn more about upcoming funding opportunities, grant programs, and eligibility requirements.

Attendees will hear presentations from several key provincial representatives, including:

  • Ministry of Rural affairs (MRA)
  • Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (MEDJCT)
  • Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness (OMAFA)
  • Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD

The forum aims to boost awareness and readiness for provincial funding programs opening in the coming months. Participants will:

  • Learn about upcoming grant programs and their timelines
  • Understand eligibility requirements and evaluation priorities
  • Build relationships directly with funders and other regional stakeholders
  • Ask questions in a supportive, in-person setting

After the Funders Forum, take a few minutes to meet this year’s Summer Company participants, who will be showcasing their products and services. They will be located in the lobby of the Benson Centre from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It’s a great opportunity to support local youth in business.
