Reid Baker is very passionate about martial arts. This passion led to create owners of Seaway Martial Arts Camp where he intends to pass on his passion and knowledge to youth throughout the community.
Seaway Martial Arts Camp will provide lessons from various sources, including high level competitors from the disciplines of wrestling, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, track and field, and Olympic lifting. There will also be yoga lessons.
Reid will educate kids through the lens of martial arts using various skills through his experiences and a clear curriculum made by himself with the help of professional coaches and other athletes
“Through a combination of personal traits and objective learning goals and criteria each week, I believe I can offer children of various ages a fun and challenging environment to grow and learn throughout the summertime,” explained Reid Baker, owner.
As a participant in the Summer Company program, Reid has been working with the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre in developing his business plan and furthering his education on the different aspects of running a business.
