Alexandria ON – A new voice is coming to Alexandria. Brigitte Mballa is bringing her lifelong passion of writing to life, by sharing it with the community.
As a trained social worker with a decade of experience in mental health, Brigitte Mballa has spent years helping others navigate some of life’s most complex emotional landscapes. Now, she channels the same depth and insight into her writing and speaking engagements.
Brigitte sets her work apart from the rest by addressing transformative topics and themes like intergenerational suffering, inner healing, resilience, and immigration.
Through Brigitte’s work, readers can discover:
- Stories that delve into real-world experiences with honesty and compassion.
- Reader gatherings, where community members can meet her, ask questions, and explore the themes behind her writing.
- Meaningful conversations centered around topics such as intergenerational suffering, inner healing, resilience, and immigration
“Writing has always been a source of healing for me, and now, I wish to share it with the whole world”, says Brigitte.
She officially launched her personal brand in December of 2025, and with the support of her Co-worker Ruth, who assists with administrative tasks and social media, she hopes to expand her work internationally in the years ahead.
As a first milestone, Brigitte will be hosting the official launch of her book on March 19th at 6:30 p.m. at the Cornwall Public Library. Community members are invited to attend, discover her work, and take part in an evening of meaningful conversation.
