Cornwall, Ontario – The Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre will be holding a number of events over the month of February to help business owners increase knowledge, develop new business skills and connect to other small business owners.

Winter webinars are a continuation of the Centre’s popular small business training sessions for entrepreneurs and those exploring the idea of entrepreneurship. Classes will continue to be delivered online over the Zoom platform in order to reach entrepreneurs throughout Cornwall, Akwesasne and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

“In preparation for tax season, we are excited to welcome Andrew Seguin from Seguin Financial to provide a beginner/intermediate QuickBooks lesson to start off our winter webinar series. Following the QuickBooks session, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will be conducting a webinar offering valuable tips tax tips for sole proprietors/self-employed small business owners. Additionally, the CRA will be hosting a second session specifically focusing on the process of incorporating a small business and the benefits that come along with incorporation,” said Shauna Baggs, Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre.

In addition to the Winter webinar series the Centre will be visiting South Glengarry for our first Breakfast Connections event on February 15, 2024.  More information will be provided.
