In a world where people are trying to be environmentally friendly, Connor McDougall came up with an environmentally friendly campfire kit. The campfire kits are 100% burnable and long lasting to be able to sit by the fire all night.
Mr. McDougall has always been interested in owning a business, and now that is what he is doing. He has created a business ‘Branch Campfire Kits.’ As a high school student at Holy Trinity in grade 11, Connor plans on going to Durham College and studying Business and Entrepreneurship.
Throughout the summer months Mr. McDougall will be putting together campfire kits. It will have everything needed to have a campfire. It can make for a unique gift and is useful for people who do no have access to everything to make a campfire.
“I’m making things easier for them by providing everything they would need to have a great campfire,” Mr. McDougall explained.
As a participant in the Summer Company program, Mr. McDougall has been working with the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre in developing his business plan and furthering his education on the different aspects of running a business.
