Province launches “Small Business Access” – a streamlined resource centre
By: Josh O’Reilly
February 13, 2018 – The province of Ontario has released a new service to help small business owners gain streamlined information on how to get funding, seek out advice, plan for business growth and learn about regulations and laws that affect your business.
The web-based solution comes from a $3.9 million dollar investment in hopes to promote small businesses across Ontario, as the province understands that small businesses provide employment to about one-third its workforce.
In addition to the new web services, the government of Ontario is partnering with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to deliver 17 workshops throughout the province. These workshops will be announced soon but are promising small businesses the chance to receive face-to-face assistance if required.
The service is provided on the web at Ontario.ca/smallbusiness or via telephone at 1-888-999-5970.
