The competition “Young Entrepreneurs, Make Your Pitch” –aimed at young entrepreneurs in Ontario, promises the winning pitch a guaranteed spot in the Summer Company Program and an expenses paid trip to Toronto. If you are enrolled full-time in grades 9-12 in Ontario you can submit a video pitch outlining your business idea to convince a panel of judges that your business will be viable. These submissions can be completed individually or in a team up to four students. For full rules on what your pitch should contain please visit rules and regulations page on the Make Your Pitch website.

After the deadline of March 22, 2018, a panel of judges will evaluate the pitches alongside a public online voting system. Twenty finalists will be chosen and invited to Toronto to be mentored and coached before presenting their business to a panel of judges at the Ontario Centre of Excellence’s Discovery Conference being held in Toronto between April 30 and May 1, 2018. This is a great opportunity for young entrepreneurs to get professional coaching and learn about innovation in the small business space.
