As of January 2015, businesses must be in full compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act. Do you know what your business’ requirements are under the Act? Do you know how to use accessibility to grow your business? Now is the time to find out!

The Business Summit presents a unique opportunity to hear TWO speakers who will provide you with expert advice. These interactive sessions will provide you with an opportunity to ask experts specific questions pertaining to your business.

Presented by Constance Exley, Director for Access Ontario.

This workshop outlines how accessibility can build profit, increase your customer base and facilitate employee engagement. It will provide you with a clear understanding of what you need to do to comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and suggest practical tips and best practices that you can apply right away.

SESSION TWO

E-Biz: Is your Online Presence Accessible?

Presented by Bernard Charlebois, Principal Consultant at Boumstrategies and Professor at La Cite Collegiale.

Making your website and other e-business tools accessible to people with disabilities and the aging population provides the potential to increase your customer base. This seminar will provides compelling business reasons for reaching these under-served and growing markets, and show you how to begin integrating accessibility into online activities.
